Save the shirt, and also keep the transition from 165 to 157 in mind.


Assuming he's been weighing in at exactly 165 up through last weekend, he'd have to go through several weeks of "descent" where he couldn't drop more than 1.5% of his weight. So even if the cut was no issue, he wouldn't even be *able* to compete at 157 until late February at the earliest. So unless he goes to some random late-season open tournament, his first appearance at 157 would be at the ACC's proper.

Now the good news, if you want to burn his shirt and have him steal a bid, is that we will probably have 4 bids to steal from. First coaches' poll has Hidlay (NCSU) #3, Finesilver (DU) #11, Monday (UNC) #17, Rahmani (Pitt) #22.
