I think his focus is offensive schemes. He seems unable to get guys with two or three years in his system to understand, nevermind play, the most basic defensive concepts. They're just lost out there game after game without any ability to defend the two key offensive tenets of today's game, dribble penetration and three point shooting. I've resigned myself to the fact that VT is going to have to play an above average offensive game and truly outscore teams to beat them.
