I've been following the weekly construction....

and they have 45 days until they host Radford. Maybe that game can be switched and we travel to Radford on February 27 and they visit us later in the season? The next game is 10 days later. That would give contractors 55 days to get things "ready" for the Pitt series. There are some 50-55 degree days forecasted for Blacksburg later next week. It's also possible to use heat blankets to cover smaller areas of poured concrete to keep the average temperature above 40 degrees. You never know what kind of weather you are going to get in the mid-Atlantic region. The winter thus far has been below normal temperature-wise but the "experts" were predicting a mild winter for the region.

As for building construction projects at Tech, I can't remember one that has finished ahead of schedule or on time in the past five years. I think English Field will be playable when February 27th arrives but maybe parts of the new stadium won't be ready for another few weeks. I think everything will be completed (except possibly for landscaping) by mid-March.
