I had forgotten about St. Joe's (NEC) which seems like a good fit for them

The SoCon could lose Richmond and still keep its automatic bid. I was surprised to see Air Force opted to be a member of the SoCon instead of the Big East so it could be in the same conference as Denver or the Patriot so it could be in the same conference as Army and Navy. It seems there are more western schools at the DII level, so it would be interesting to see if any decide to move up to the DI level in lacrosse (only). At least I would think Air Force and Denver would prefer to be in a more western conference than a conference based on the East Coast.

Even though NJIT and Cleveland State are bad in lacrosse, by having both as members then it would get the ACCN in states (NJ and OH) that the ACC currently doesn't have members in. Plus, it could help bridge the gap with Notre Dame and Syracuse being stuck on an island.
