Ok thanks, that's what I thought you meant.


Sorry to ask so many questions. My issue is that my parents' house has no network cabling in the walls, so I can't really link the extender to the main router with Cat 5/Cat 6 cabling. But if coax is an option like you say, that would be a simple solution, as they do have several coax jacks on the main floor.
