Google Amy Elliott.... she is the closest I can find to


a recent TV-style engineering celeb. She got her start on "The Big Brain Theory" on Discovery. But she was a PhD at Tech... I'm not sure if she identifies with Tech more or Tennessee Tech.

I like the Tech undergrads who make a name for themselves too... the Homer Hickam types.
