I told you guys last week that Iger and Skipper would be nothing more than Rupert Murdoch puppets if this FOX deal went through. With Rupert negotitating veto power over any major decisions, including the hiring and firing of CEOs, and all but getting Trump's blessing regarding anti-trust road blocks, Skipper's days were numbered. Iger was asked to stay past 2019 until James Murdoch could be groomed for his position. Skipper decided to bail out on his terms so he could control how his skeletons were pulled out of his closet.
