Strategy for a Tech win at the bowl

Having seen both teams play quite a bit, it is clear that this is the route to victory for Tech.
1. Control the ball with good, consistent running (Peoples will be key) and timely short to mid-range passes (10-15 yards each)- not long passes as this plays in to OSU's shoot-out philosophy. Possess the ball and limit OSU's offensive touches, be efficient.
2. Consistently stop the run and pressure Rudolph to throw on the run. He can throw the bad ball ball when not in a static or moving pocket. In the pocket he will kill you. Has a quick release.
3. Just as important we must have the special teams either score or set up easy scores at least twice during the game. If special teams can get or assist in getting two TDs (or if the defense can provide a pick-six) then our offense need only score, on drives, three TDs to win this IF our defense does its job well.
If any of these three things don't happen I don't see us winning. A good score for us would be something like 35-31 or 31-28 at best. If either team gets in to the high 30's we don't win this.
By the way don't count on OSU not being up for this. The offense wants to go out proving they can beat one of the best defensive coordinators in the game (that's been talked about a little in media), and their defensive coordinator is on the hot seat, may well lose his job if Tech wins. His players know this so they will try hard, they like the guy.
Make no mistake, OSU has an offense you would expect to see in a 'final four' team.
