2 questions


1. How different are the ratings for Clemson-Alabama vs. Clemson-OSU? If Clemson were to lose, how different for the final? People keep talking as if no one watches OSU, which is awfully far from the truth. In fact it's rather strange to claim that OSU got in for TV last year and was left out for TV this year.

2. Why did UW get in last year? There's no way in the world they're a better TV draw than PSU...and there's a far bigger gap there than between Alabama and OSU.

If there were some nice, tidy way to "define and use the criteria," a computer would do it, no a committee. And I'm sure you're familiar with how many methods are used for computer rankings...it's just a really difficult task to rank/rate teams when you have relatively small schedules with little overlap among them.
