I really don't feel worried about Fu and the coaching carousel
People can talk all they want about better programs, lateral moves, more money, etc. I can't help but feel VT is the perfect situation for Fuente. Does he make as much as he may elsewhere? No. But just take a look around. Is it really worth making the extra money when you're constantly on the hot seat and potentially out three years down the road?
When I look around, I don't see any place with a better balance of money, job security, quality of AD, access to talent, history, staff (Bud Foster), and ease with which you can make the playoff consistently than Virginia Tech. Obviously I'm biased, but Fu can really do special things here.
