The only people who thought he was a DE were the lazy recruiting site guys, the fools that take that stuff as gospel - and Nijman himself (and that lasted about a day into Fall camp).

Anyone with a clue that looked at his film for 2 min knew there was zero chance he was a DE - particularly at VT.

I remember Stinespring talking about Nijman at the recruiting night right after signing day. He said he'd been showing Nijman pictures of Duane Brown
