Would love to see Clemson do that, but Lacrosse will get first look.


Lacrosse was made a South Carolina High School Sanctioned Sport in 2010, and lacrosse is exploding across South Carolina, particularly upstate near Clemson. Furman has added a team, and also some Division II teams were added. With it exploding at the high school level in the state, Clemson being a state school has to notice. If they do anything as far as adding programs, look for lacrosse to be given first consideration.

I would love to see Swimming and Diving restored, but Clemson can use the same facilities as they use for Soccer if they add Lacrosse. Soccer is fall, Lacrosse is spring. Plus lacrosse will show a lot more on television with the ACC Network.
