From a scheduling standpoint the system is broken

Instead of only scheduling 1 OOC game against a P5 school (if even that), they should be scheduling at least 2 OOC games against P5 schools every year. Unfortunately, the SEC may be in the best position to get 2 teams into the Playoffs this year. However, I think the following scenario would have to play out in order for it to happen.

Alabama loses a close game to Auburn on Saturday
Georgia beats GT and Auburn in the SEC CCG
Wisconsin loses to either Minnesota or Ohio State in the Big Ten CCG
Ohio State loses to Michigan
Oklahoma runs the table and is the Big XII Champion

If all of that happens, then there is a good possibility that the 4 teams in the Playoff would be the following:

1. Clemson or Miami (whomever wins the ACC)
2. Georgia (SEC Champion)
3. Oklahoma (Big XII Champion)
4. Alabama (best at-large at 11-1)

Wisconsin at 11-1 or 12-1 may be the only other contender for that last spot. However, would a Big Ten champion with a loss to Minnesota be more "deserving" than Alabama given the Badgers weak schedule this year? If Wisconsin loses to Ohio State in the Big Ten CCG, then would that be enough for the Badgers to back their way into the Playoffs or would the Badgers weak schedule keep them out? I don't see the Committee putting a 2 or 3-loss champion in the Playoffs ahead of a 1-loss Alabama.
