WVU is building a new Aquatics Center


They have structured the financing like VT did with Christiansburg. They are partnering with Monongalia County to build the facility. It will be the first 50 meter pool in the state of WV.

Other than Texas, the Big XII isn't a big Swimming & Diving Conference. There are only 3 men's programs including WVU, only 5 women's. Texas has the only state of the art aquatics center.

But the ACC is a big swimming and diving conference. We only have 3 members not have programs, Clemson, Syracuse, and Wake Forest. Most of the ACC has state of the art aquatics centers. Wake Forest could use Greensboro's Aquatics Center if they get a team. WVU would fit right in with what they are doing in Swimming & Diving.
