At least the Angels dropped the "of Anaheim" from their name in 2016. FWIW the Cowboys (Arlington), 49ers (Santa Clara), Giants/Jets (East Rutherford, NJ), and Bills (Orchard Park) all play in stadiums that aren't physically located in the city (or state) associated with their team name. So if the Redskins should change their city name, then I would think the other NFL teams listed above should too.
