remember this even though I was only a little tike then and the impact this had not only on Marshall, Huntington and that area, but on Va Tech and college football. Frank Loria and Carrol Dale were just names you heard around football season.

Little did I know I would live in Huntington later on in life living near the airport and flying out of there often. Was always a bit chilling landing from that direction where it happened.

Marshall and the community were forever scared from this, and while I was there ('92-'95) the memory still fresher than what any other 22 years would do to your memory.

I think time and moving from the old stadium where that team played helped move them past part of this horrible event, but Marshall forever linked to this tragedy and Hokies via Loria the same.
