I am not trying to be negative with these questions - I'm just curious.

I'm sure I don't need to remind everyone of the hype surrounding Devon Hunter's recruitment last year, but just a quick reminder: - Tech's top recruit; 3rd best safety in the country; 45th best overall player in the country.

This type of talent doesn't doesn't come to Blacksburg very often. We spent a lot of time surmising where in the backfield he might break into the two deep. Many wondered if he would be starting by the end of the season. But we are nearing the end of the season and I've hardly heard his name mentioned. I realize we had a strong and experienced backfield to start the season and that Devon had some injuries early on, but I guess I am surprised we haven't heard his name mentioned this late into the season.

So, here are my questions:
- Is he physically OK ?
- What positions has he played, only special teams?
- Are the coaches happy with his progress ?
- Are we expecting a major step forward next year?
