Women's Soccer: Tech 0 Syracuse 0 2OT...


End the season with a 1-5-4 ACC record and an over all record of 7-6-5. We finished in 12th place with 7 points.

We didn't score an offensive goal during our ACC home schedule. When was the last time Tech didn't score a goal at home during an entire conference season? The last goal we scored at Thompson Field was on September 4 vs. Longwood (1-0 win). 3 GF and 15 GA in ACC play. That averages out to 0.3 goals per game while giving up 1.5 goals per game in conference play.

Not the season we were hoping for. I was optimistic in August but knew after the first few weeks that we were going to have a hard time scoring goals, no matter who we played. The team played hard. 5 2OT ACC games proves that.

Congrats to all of our seniors! I wish the best for each of them.
