Penn State should have taught me a valuable lesson
No matter how lily white and pure you think your program is. think again. The same PSU fans that called programs like Miami, USC and Bama trash during their probation periods ended up looking foolish. JoPa walked on water at State College and "did everything the right way." Turned out his vanity would be the sad end of his legacy. A vanity that allowed him to chose his pride for the PSU football program over everything else, no matter the cost.
And I bet the majority of successful football coaches have their skeletons too. I just hope those skeletons aren't as bad as JoPa's and Sandusky's.
So, I don't hate PSU, but was never a fan of JoPa even before the scandal. It was a very sad and unfortunate turn of events for their university. Yet they seem to be doing better than ever now! And Rutgers. well, no scandals in football other than the product you see on the field most years. [Post edited by Calamitous at 10/22/2017 10:09PM]
