People in PSU's administration broke the law. If one of the reason's

they did it was to help athletics, then it seems to me that part of the punishment could be directed at athletics. It seems to me there is not a better example of loss of institutional control than high-level staff covering up years of a football coach abusing children to protect the football program.

However, I am not a legal expert by any means. I am just saying that to me it seems like a component of the punishment could reasonably include athletics. I am not sure who would be able to levy that type of punishment. Perhaps the state of Pennsylvania would have to impose such punishment.

Let me add: I could see one saying well they punished/fired the individuals responsible. That is what could be done, and they did it. The end. I mean if someone kills someone to protect someone else, they are not going to punish the person who was being protected.
