They can only be as strong as their membership demands


in theory, they can pass any sort of internal bylaws they want for inclusion in or expulsion from the club. but if the big dogs don't want to play, it appears they don't have to.

maybe this is one of those necessary Darwinian steps towards a P65-80 breakaway for the revenue sports

the questions in my mind are (1) will others follow the UNC/PSU path or is there enough interest to strengthen the bylaws for membership? and (2) is Baylor the next test case?
