Surprising the wife with a new dishwasher. Anything new & fancy out there?


When we bought this house, it had but one glaring omission... no dishwasher. For two years now I've been telling her we can't add it due to the septic system but turns out that ours is fine. Oops.

So while she's out of town visiting her folks, I'm removing some cabinetry and installing a new dishwasher. Is there anything out there in the last five years that's awesome and new in the world of dishwashers? Energy savers, new features, etc?
