So glad Louisville lost last night

Bobby Petrino is redneck lowlife, riding motorcycles with his secretary holding on to his belly, abandoning Louisville for the Atlanta Falcons and Michael Vick, then dropping them for Arkansas, then somehow cycling back to Louisville. Shows two things: 1) Petrino does not know how to commit to a relationship, and 2) Louisville administration is a poor judge of people, hiring Petrino back after he dumped on them once. Further evidenced by the Rick Petino money laundering scandal. Forgive me, but I don't understand Louisville being "a proud member" of the ACC. Swofford evidently doesn't look at resumes.

Then there is Lamar Jackson. He is a good athlete, but he is no Michael Vick. If Michael Vick was not a Heisman winner, how can Lamar Jackson be one? Especially on a team with at least one in-season loss last year (I can't remember how the Cards did in their bowl game) and now two losses at midseason this year. Michael Vick was undefeated in season in 1999 when he was 3rd in the Heisman voting, and Tech was 22-2 in hIs career in Blacksburg, and one of those losses was on Grant Noel when he started in place of an injured (ankle sprain) Vick versus Miami in 2000. I'll never buy Lamar Jackson as a Heisman guy in comparison to others. Paul Hornung (Notre Dame 1956) is the only Heisman winner from a team with a losing record. I'll take Hornung over Jackson, and Hornung's fine NFL record was only tarnished by his not playing a couple of years when he was caught gambling. Jackson is apparently not "a person of interest" in the Rick Petino/Louisville paying student athletes thing, but Jackson is/was overated in my book. Diminishes the value of the Heisman. Second place guy last year was gyped.

Anyway, kudos to NC State for last night's win, true proud members of the ACC. Although their unis left something to be desired 😉 Add Louisville/Petrino/Petino/L. Jackson to my list of people I wish would just go away.
