Seconded. 4 of the 7 crossovers make at least a modicum of sense

I don't like having them either. Quite honestly, it wasn't THAT big a deal when it was a 12 team conference. But when they moved to 14, plus subbing UL for MD, they absolutely needed to rework divisions and/or get rid of the crossover rivalries and/or go to 9 conference games. instead, they took the laziest possible route and just plugged in the 2 new schools as rivals and just replaced MD with UL as uva's "rival". It was like jim weaver walking down the hall and telling an assistant "you're hired".
