The part about Bristol was TIC. My point was that if the ACC-SEC Series
ever did come to fruition and teams were paired up, then VT-UT probably makes the most sense. It also means the games should alternate between Neyland and Lane. However, because UT sees Lane as being "too small" to play in for the "a program of their stature" *snicker*, then I could see them insist on VT playing at a "larger venue." BMS or the Titans stadium are probably the options that only make sense for this paired series. I don't think VT would agree to play their "home" games in Nashville given where it is located in relation to Knoxville and Blacksburg. I could see VT agree to BMS for the right price.
I do agree with you that I don't think BMS would agree to host a game every 2 years. However, BMS may be open to the idea if other people/organizations were willing to foot most of the bill to convert the racetrack. Also, I agree with you that some people would decide to stay not to attend the game. I don't have a guess on how many and whether those people are mostly fans of 1 team or whether it would be a roughly equal split between the teams.
