Week Six Game Predictions
I think I might make this weekly just for the heck of it, but here's how I see this week playing out....
NC State 30 Louisville 24: Teams have figured Louisville out. They're the Lamar Jackson show. He'll make some plays because he is who he is. But NC State sets themselves up nicely for a showdown with Clemson for the Atlantic title.
Clemson 31 Wake Forest 14: Wake isn't bad. But it takes more than "not bad" to compete for four quarters with Clemson. This will be a closer game than it should be for a while.
Virginia 20 Duke 17: UVA looks far improved and gets themselves in the talk for a possible bowl bid.
Syracuse 49 Pittsburgh 37: Syracuse is slowly improving. Pitt is falling fast. Pitt was able to stop Rice. But they haven't stopped anyone else. Cuse > Rice.
Miami 35 Florida State 14: The Canes unleash 7 years of frustration against the Noles. No QB and no OL equals no offense against the strong Canes defense.
Notre Dame 41 North Carolina 21: UNC will score a few points. But the Heels are really bad.
And of course:
Virginia Tech 24 Boston College 7: I see there being a little bit of a lull after the Clemson game. The good news is that we have a solid D and BC's offense might as well just go full Waterboy.
