I know this is long but I just felt like sharing it with everyone due to some of the frustration some people have had in securing tickets lately. For the last month I have been searching for 4 tickets to the UNC game. I stated that I preferred the west side and club tickets if possible because my wife has a disability and the elevator access to the club seats is really helpful. This morning I got a message from F4EHokie stating that he had 4 tickets on the west side but they were not all together, they were two pairs of two in the same section but separated by maybe 6-8 rows. I told him that I hated to maybe pass on the tickets, but I really wanted 4 tickets together. My wife, my daughter and myself are all Hokie grads, and we were bringing my new son-in-law to experience Lane Stadium for the first time. F4EHokie thought about if for maybe 3 seconds and he said he would sell me his 4 personal seats together. These are prime seats on the East side and my wife will only have to walk down about 6 rows from the portal to reach the aisle seats. When I asked him how much he wanted for the seats he said just face value.
I know is long but I just wanted to share it because last night I saw some people on the board seeming to question F4EHokie's motives in buying tickets. I have been buying tickets on TSL for the last 15 years and have usually paid face value, but never more than $25.00 above face for any game. I am not being critical of what anyone wants to charge for their tickets. I know there is a law of supply and demand and if someone wants to sell their ticket for above face value they have the absolute right to do that.
Finally, thank you to F4EHokie for allowing me the opportunity to bring my son-in-law to his first game in Lane Stadium as he gets to personally experience Hokie Nation as we curb stomp the UNCheats.
