TBH, I could see Greenberg having some shady deals, only because he got some higher profile guys I thought were out of Tech's league at the time. However, I do not believe SG was a dirty recruiter and I do not think Jim Weaver would have stood for it then (though he probably wouldn't have known about it).

Whit also does not strike me as the kind of individual who would put up with something like that.
