RJ, thanks for the info. This is the same info
I got from Sandy Smith after the last open selection (400-seats for the HC/AthDept and another 400-seats for "contractual obligations," for a total of 800-seats blocked for selection by the "rank and file" donor).
I guess my basic question is why the lack of transparency? This preselection info has never been provided to donors/customers prior to open seat selection. I find this especially galling since the HC/AthDept/VTTO controls all parts of the deal. They get to set required giving levels, they control the sale of tickets, the cost of tickets, how many seats you can have, and when you select. They also get the money up front, with the customers not knowledgeable of the product that can be obtained.
This to me is a total lack of transparency, much like the roll out of the Scholarship Fund giving levels. I'm starting to feel like a mushroom, and the mushroom farm is run by Martin Shkreli.
