Will be interesting to watch, especially coming so close in relation to the VT transition, to see how the process is handled and completed. To date, I think most would agree VT handled the presidential and AD transitions in a competent, professional manner with solid results.

Sullivan's tenure at UVA following Casteen would be viewed as a mixed bag when taking in to account a few of the high profile Board dustups, the Rolling Stone article handling, etc.. Littlepage clearly strengthened the overall UVA athletic program but, he is weighted down by the fact that their most high profile revenue sport has been a complete and total disaster for more than a decade. Mr. Jefferson's University has a lot riding on this next round of hires. If they screw it up, they may just be spitting out that silver spoon in their mouth with which they were born.
