I meant to include Jimmy Butler as well and that might be a more clear benchmark given that he was traded for 2 players and a higher draft pick. I guess you never know what players a team covets but it's hard to imagine Chicago says no to IT, another player, and the Lakers pick for Butler. I get that the Celtics roster is forward heavy now but they wouldn't have traded Bradley for Morris and could have made a play for another PG. Honestly it seems like there should have been a path to acquire Butler AND Irving using the assests they gave up this summer- though maybe salary cap considerations would have come into play. If they had Irving, Butler, Hayward, Tatum, Horford, Brown, Rozier and Smart... that's a very, very dangerous team.
