Moorehead Tournament in Eden, NC - super 32 qualifier
would be an excellent opportunity to wrestle good quality competition in your area and try to qualify for super 32.
If he qualifies, its absolutely a great chance to raise your game and wrestle against great competition.
As VTdad posted, skyline is another qualifier
Moorehead (sept 16)
Skyline (sept 23)
My son is a rising sophomore at Cburg and will wrestle in both ...and he was a VA state placer as a true freshmen last season.
Cburg wrestles an extremely aggressive schedule both pre-season as well as in season. Last year he wrestled at Iron man, Beast, VA duals and a couple other top tournaments. It absolutely prepared him for Virginia post season.
This season our schedule is even tougher. Pre-season we have the 2 super32 qualifiers (moorehead and skyline), Journeyman, Columbus Day duals and super32. In season we have lake norman duals, ironman, beast, virginia duals, battlefield duals and a big quad meet with graham/independence/huntington/cburg
their record isn't always pretty for the younger guys in particular at Cburg, but it absolutely prepares them [Post edited by Hillcrest Hokie at 08/21/2017 7:23PM]
