The 80s were very kind to Miami...


and they were lucky to be in a hotbed for great HS football talent. Otherwise, Miami would be in the same situation as the University of Richmond. The Coral Gables campus is more like an A-10 school's campus than a P5 one. Their campus is so small, they can't find the room nor afford their own digs.

No stadium in City of Miami will really help their situation unless they could acquire billions to buy neighboring homes and expand their campus. That and convince local zoning that a on-campus stadium is a good idea after spending billions. Otherwise, they will always suffer with poor fan turn-out at an off-campus pro venue.
