Miami is a tiny private school with no money.


Losing the Orange Bowl may have been the death of that program. The best thing that could happen to it is the Marlins leave town and they repurpose that stadium so the Canes no longer have to play in Jimmy Buffet's barf bowl out in BF Opa Locka.

I'd rather have Miami in the ACC than USF but if push comes to shove, Tampa gives you most of what you get with Miami. And USF is a larger, state school with a great deal of untapped potential athletically.

As for Pitt, I kind of feel like that whole "great relationship with the Steelers" is a bit of a cop out for not wanting to invest in football (or not hiring the people who know how).
