I would think so too. However, I currently live in the DMV
and I don't think the DMV was impacted as other areas when the housing bubble popped because there is fresh blood moving into the area every 4 years or so. So while the trends says people's habits will/should change, I do wonder if there is a plausible scenario that could buck that trend.
