ACC schools and the other 3 are Maryland, Rutgers and Utah. 2 programs known to have financial difficulties and Utah who is probably still experiencing some growing pains from moving up to a P5 conference.

And spoiler alert VT is one of those 6 schools.

I'm figuring VT's student fees are between $175 and $200. Which I consider quite reasonable but, what if a big school like Penn State or Ohio State charged a $200 student fee for 50,000 students? They could easily raise $10,000,000 a year.

To me a high student fee just shows your not getting enough revenue from donations, licensing or media rights. None of these are revelations. Will and TSL have been pointing this out for a long time. I'm just glad the per seat donations (a long time overdue) and Drive for 25 have finally come along. I have faith in the Hokie Nation that we'll reach 25K donors and will be comfortably in the top 25 in revenues but time will tell.

As a whole the Total Revenues and Donations picture was not as bad as I expected it to be. 4th in donations of the 8 reporting ACC schools and I'm pretty sure we're ahead of the private schools that weren't reported other than ND and Duke.
