I’ve watched their last game of 2016, vs Hokies, several times and I have to say Blanding did not impress. Perhaps it is true that he was banged up for most of last season, but his performance in the VT game was very mediocre – too many bad angles.

If I was a gambling man, I’d say our Big Tim will move up that list during the season. Hill also, if he stays healthy. I’d love to see Steven Peoples receive a few kudos, but he likely will be used so only the very observant will notice his impact. If you get the chance, key on Steven and watch when he does not get the ball; he is a blocking machine, most of the time, and a damned resilient second effort player.
