Do we have our share of ignorant people, yes, but it's definitely not ...

...the same place it was 15-20 years ago. Most of the knuckleheads got priced out. You make it sound like you are safer going to Ramadi or Fallujah to catch a college football game. The sterotype that Mountaineer fans want to drink the blood of the opposing fans simply not true. The majority of Mountaineer fans are welcoming, you'll always have a few drunk morons looking for trouble, but as I've said, I've seen that everywhere 9 times out of 10, that behavior gets squashed immediately by those around it. For example, from TripAdvisor by an OU fan: "Reviewed September 23, 2014 Welcoming, hospitable and gracious WVU fans We attended the West Virginia University vs. University of Oklahoma football game. Although we wore Oklahoma shirts, the WVU fans invited us to their tailgate parties and shared their food and drink. At least 100 WVU folks said, "Welcome to Morgantown. Even after we won, they were classy and hospitable. The field was nice but the people made it special!" Debra-Lynne T Los Angeles, California." That's a far cry from the primitive cavemen that you talk about. I just don't like for someone to paint a false picture of reality based on a bad experience 15 years ago or label everyone a pos because of a few idiots.
