Ian did not pitch his junior year due to a shoulder injury.There was some concern his career was over. He came back in his senior year to be the top starter on a loaded St.Johns team that went 23-3. In the 4 game state championship he started and either went the distance or deep into 2 wins. In the final deciding game he closed out the win.
