I LOVE the Beach...north of 264. But he ain't in that price range. Few are


IMHO there isn't any reason for a retiree (schools in VB are much better) to limit themselves to VB.

For Norfolk, look at Ghent, Downtown, Bayview, Ocean View. The last two front the Bay between the HRBT and Little Creek Amphibious base. Decent beaches.

FTR, Norfolk is an old core city (like Richmond but smaller) that has all of the challenges of those cities. Some people love the urban setting and some hate it.
