Nope, 2nd time this year the Nats have pulled this crap.


They have a horrible pen, so they don't want to risk a delay and then having to go to the pen in the 4th or 5th inning.

They did it to the O's back on May 11. And guess what? It never even rained that day. As it turned out, the O's lost an off day and had to play 20 days without a day off thanks to that Tom Foolery.

It's bush league and it's cowardly, not to mention a slap in the face to the fans who bought tickets. But considering their pen, I suppose it is also smart.
