Texas will insist on keeping some of that anywhere they go.

It's one of my concerns about considering Texas for the ACC. It sounds good in theory, but I don't want ACC championship events held in Texas, certainly not football or basketball events. Perhaps baseball, but even then it's a stretch.

I don't think that the Big Ten will want that at all either. The SEC might accommodate on some sort of rotation. With Louisiana and Arkansas, they border Texas anyway and they have Texas A&M already. Moving their conference football championship between Atlanta and Dallas is not that big a deal. They won't move basketball. That's in Nashville to be as close to Kentucky as possible. Kentucky fans always stay the longest in that championship city, so it's close to accommodate the UK fans.
