VT has Title IX issues, thus the adding of women's

golf. To add men's lacrosse would result in even more Title IX problems. One reason U Va has women's rowing and field hockey is because of men's lacrosse. Very doubtful that VT will add men's lacrosse. Also unlikely VT would eliminate a men's sport to get it.
