I'm assuming that Whit is just paying Szefc the going rate for P-5 baseball

coaches. UVA is paying around $700,000 per year and Louisville pays their coach a cool $1 million per year. It seems like Szefc's salary is at or below average for a SEC baseball coach.

I find the salaries to be ridiculous but that is where we are in college athletics. I assume that Whit is already paying most of our Olympic coaches the average salary for P-5 Olympic sport coaches? Maybe someone at TSL can write an article about the head coaching salaries for each sport at Tech?
