a couple of weeks ago that he enjoyed a lot about his time here - primarily the atmosphere of VT & Blacksburg and the leadership and athletic department. But I also go the sense that he had what he wanted with OU in the way of program resources and support. I don't know Hughes and haven't followed the situation close enough to know if his positive comments on the VT job were, in a way, negative commentary on the OU job in terms of the attitude of the athletic department, but in hindsight, it kind of seems that way.

But to answer your question, I think going in a new direction is positive for us. Hughes did show that he could recruit and be successful at VT despite the resource limitations but he has also shown those resources are important to him. His history and level of success should and hopefully will lead to another great opportunity.
