I just worry about the disparity that will emerge from this


Just look at the NBA. Even with having to figure out cap rules and all that, KD goes to the GS Warriors and they look like a team that no one will touch for the next 3 years. What happens in college basketball when the best 6 or 7 players all decide to transfer to one school? And that school just happens to have the highest COA stipend? And that school continually gets the top players each year through transfers, guys who didn't get recruited, but blossomed in Fr/So year?

I understand the logic of if a coach can up and leave, why can't a player, but I just don't agree with giving players free reign to go where they choose. I think it will ruin college sports. I'd rather see that a coach has to sit out a year if they choose to leave instead of being fired.
