With 2 fewer opportunities to play OOC games, it will be interesting

to see how much weight the Committee puts on games against mid-majors; especially quality mid-majors. It may come down to the ratio of power conferences to mid-majors on the Committee which could mean teams are scheduling based on the criteria established by previous Committees and not necessarily what this year's Committee will use to select the field.
