Given the Big Ten and assuming they have to take OK State to get Okla, they then have 17 members. I would think it would be hard to get the current membership to bite off on adding even that many all at once.

But to go further, they might want to keep their geographic tradition and add Kansas, to make an arch from Nebraska to Texas. Then they would have 18 and probably feel like they had done enough for a few decades. Five teams west of Lake Michigan then would make a nice western division (Illinois or NW, Wisc, Nebr, Minn, and Iowa added to Kansas, Texas, Ok and OSU). Much easier than raiding the ACC.

If they just want Texas and one other, then if not OK (because of OSU), I would expect Kansas to be the one.

If it is the Pac 12, then we have no worries. They would just raid the Big 12 for 4 teams, likely the same four.

Regardless, the ACC is much harder to raid given the GOR, our current stability and future prospects. I doubt any single team would leave just to join up with a raid on the Big 12. With Texas leaving, it would be easy to get Big 12 teams to come along and there would be plenty of good ones to choose from.
