Athletically I don't disagree that UNLV could succeed in the Pac

FWIW it appears that UNLV's club ice hockey is pushing to become the next NCAA sport to be sponsored by the school.

It will be interesting to see what the schools think about UNLV's academics given that the conference has 5 schools in the Top 50 for most of the academic rankings out there.
