Really is remarkable a couple of the things they pulled off.
Keeping the same TV payment for 12 teams with 10 teams was golden.
It was also great for them to secure the Sugar Bowl spot with only 10 teams too.
Anyhow, their days are numbered, but that league's leadership has the league producing for its teams till the end. THAT's what conferences are supposed to do. 1) make money for the schools. 2) provide decent scheduling.
Big12's no B1G or SEC, but it's fulfilling its mission quite well. And the league works out especially well for its better programs.
